Wonderful sea view and loctation!

Wonderful sea view from the balcony, facilities, location and friendly personnel. This is an ideal hotel for couples or small families. Hotel has also park place available inside the hotel gardens.

It was picture perfect and felt intimate and friendly

My room was not nice. Don’t go for their basic room it’s vastly over priced with no view whatsoever. Fine if you just want somewhere to lay your head at night but not anymore than that.

Beautiful property! Exactly as depicted in the pictures. The rooms, the grounds, and the area were perfect! Loved the beach nearby as well as spending time in the pool. Had both breakfast & dinner there and food was wonderful.

Pretty much everything, especially the location. Please note that the property does accept Amex ( Booking.com said that it didn't).

There could be more variety on the menu at lunchtime when you just need a light snack.

Wonderful, relaxing stay in a beautiful setting.

Beautifully appointed hotel with very friendly and professional staff. The breakfast was first rate, amazing choice and freshly prepared with the added bonus of magnificent sea views.

When dining in the garden rather than in the main restaurant overlooking the sea, the food was not as hot, when it arrived at our table, as it could have been because it had to be transported from the main hotel kitchen.

Still one of the favourite Hotels in Spain. Need to check the policy of the restaurant.

Its the third time we come to this Hotel and the place is amazing, one of the best views you can find in Begur, very private and relaxing place. All the staff are very nice and smily. Definitely you can disconnect from your everyday routine.

Had an issue with the restaurant of the hotel, the first day we came to eat, there was plenty of empty tables with the view to the sea, altho the lady with the glasses told us it was all reserved. For our surprise when we called the next day to specifically reserve one of those tables, another lady told us that it was impossible to reserve and that the asignation of the tables were based on the order of arrival. Very dissapointed since we came to have lunch and dinner several times.

Wonderful

The location, the hotel and its terrace views are beautiful. Breakfast buffet was exceptional.

The service, although friendly, was very slow and we were forgotten multiple times towards the end of a meal.

Fabulous position but a large hotel …. Too large for me!

Our room had a wonderful view. Breakfast was amazing. Staff extremely helpful .

Half board and not very impressed with the quality of the evening meals on offer. In house beautician not great!

Lovely hotel and setting and we will return

The location in the bay is stunning. The staff were friendly and the facilities were very good. The common areas of the hotel are stylishly furnished and decorated. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a terrific sea view. There is plenty of parking on the site.

A bar menu to enjoy an informal, light meal in the evening would be a good addition.

Great for families. Need to drive if you want to go to other restaurants etc

Great spot for local swimming and hiking. Restaurant was good and breakfast bar and menu delicious. Team were not as friendly as other places stayed in the area.

Very enjoyable stay in a beautiful hotel.

Rooms comfortable, clean and spacious. Great view of the gardens and the sea beyond. The breakfast was outstanding. The staff were friendly, professional and above all happy!

Parking was a nightmare - spaces not designed for modern cars!

Fabulous setting, with beautiful views over the sea. Thé breakfast was excellent. We were half board and enjoyed the evening meal. The staff were very helpful.

Delightful

The location is spectacular, and the facilities are excellent. It was a big ask to satisfy us after five weeks at some excellent hotels and private homes in Spain and Portugal, especially as we were joined by our daughter's young family at Aqua Blava. One could say the property is not ideal for very young children with lots of levels and steps but the playground and pool area, plus the brilliant wee beach below rooms 53 and 54, were excellent.

I know it has been a long, hard season, but some staff seemed a little burnt out. Having said that, the room maids were a hoot, always interacting with the kids, and those in charge at the restaurant and reception were most accommodating. A shuttle into Begure, even if only a few times a day, would be nice but I guess most people arrive by car. We were over rental cars by the time we arrived, so we had used a private transfer from BCN to the Hotel and return, so we had no transport. The cabs were great, mind you. Would highly recommend this property that one family has owned for nearly a century.
