Great location and views. Food expensive and lacked taste.

Lovely hotel and setting and we will return

The location in the bay is stunning. The staff were friendly and the facilities were very good. The common areas of the hotel are stylishly furnished and decorated. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a terrific sea view. There is plenty of parking on the site.

A bar menu to enjoy an informal, light meal in the evening would be a good addition.

Great spot for local swimming and hiking. Restaurant was good and breakfast bar and menu delicious. Team were not as friendly as other places stayed in the area.

Very enjoyable stay in a beautiful hotel.

Rooms comfortable, clean and spacious. Great view of the gardens and the sea beyond. The breakfast was outstanding. The staff were friendly, professional and above all happy!

Parking was a nightmare - spaces not designed for modern cars!

A great place to stay.

Fabulous setting, with beautiful views over the sea. Thé breakfast was excellent. We were half board and enjoyed the evening meal. The staff were very helpful.

Delightful

The location is spectacular, and the facilities are excellent. It was a big ask to satisfy us after five weeks at some excellent hotels and private homes in Spain and Portugal, especially as we were joined by our daughter's young family at Aqua Blava. One could say the property is not ideal for very young children with lots of levels and steps but the playground and pool area, plus the brilliant wee beach below rooms 53 and 54, were excellent.

I know it has been a long, hard season, but some staff seemed a little burnt out. Having said that, the room maids were a hoot, always interacting with the kids, and those in charge at the restaurant and reception were most accommodating. A shuttle into Begure, even if only a few times a day, would be nice but I guess most people arrive by car. We were over rental cars by the time we arrived, so we had used a private transfer from BCN to the Hotel and return, so we had no transport. The cabs were great, mind you. Would highly recommend this property that one family has owned for nearly a century.

The hotel is in a beautiful location. The room was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful

Not the fajlt of the hotel but there are not local facilities such as restaurants around it. so you really need to use your car if you are not to rely soley on the hotel catering. The hotel catering is good but there is not a choice of smaller 'snack' type meals so you are onto a full course even it is a lunch time snack you are after.

This is an amazing property. The location is just perfect. Everyone is professional and helpful. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The pool and beaches are very special.

Wonderful

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Loved the table tennis and badminton. Fabulous view from room and great cocktails. Breakfast buffet was the best.

A few more veggie options on the evening menu would be great. Also, just be aware if travelling with elderly parents that the hotel is very hilly and it can be a bit of a struggle for those with limited ability to get around.

Wonderful place to relax and unwind

Hotel Aigua Blava is just a wonderful place to be and relax. Having visited many many moons ago it was lovely to be back. Nothing seems to have changed although it was a shame Chez Henry wasn't open!

If you don't have a vehicle, you are limited to what you can do as the hotel is quite far from the towns, but forced relaxation is never a chore!!

Amazing old world hotel , not cheap but worth a two day stay

Location incredible and old world charm

Staff are surly and generally not friendly, especially the restaurant Reception staff were the exception - they were great

A wonderful place for a great holiday.

We loved the location and views. The restaurant was very good. The pool was superb & great to be able to swim in the sea as well. The room was very comfortable too.

The car parking was the most difficult thing about our visit .
